Temperatures to hit 25C amid hottest spell of the year so far


Temperatures are expected to hit highs of 25C today with meteorologists braced for the hottest day of the year so far. On southern and western coasts, it is likely to remain cloudy and misty at times with some light rain and drizzle moving in sporadically. Elsewhere it will be warm and a humid day with temperatures in the low to mid-20s. Towards evening though, cloud will thicken more along western and northwestern coasts, with some light rain and drizzle starting to move in. Wednesday will be another generally dry day with sunny spells and some showers in the south and west.
