Reef Life Project in Parliament for second time in a month JANE MATTHEWSSupplied The speaking students outside the Beehive. Seven high school students have gone from presenting their projects locally, to receiving surprise applause in Parliament. The Reef Life Project is a South Taranaki-based project that involves many community groups and schools who explore the reef off the west coast. The six Hawera High School students who spoke were also very happy after coming back from Parliament. Clancy said since working on the Reef Life Project his dreams of being a professional athlete may have shifted, and science is on his mind.
