A teenager was taken to hospital with serious injuries after an assault in Dunedin yesterday. Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen said an 18-year-old man suffered serious facial injuries during an assault in the car park behind the central Dunedin McDonald's on Monday afternoon. The incident had been referred to the Dunedin CIB, he said.
