Teenager Jack Smith was involved in a spectacular crash in a support race at Bathurst on Saturday and lucky to escape without serious injury. The 17-year-old was driving in the Dunlop development series, which is a Supercars category to help bring through the next generation of top drivers. But going over the top of Mount Panorama, at the Dipper, Smith smashed into one of the walls then rebounded into another wall, sending debris and one of his tyres all over the place. Jack Smith sent his car into two walls during the Dunlop series race.
