A technology company has offered a new way of coronavirus contact tracing through the use of QR codes to help control the pandemic. Madison Technologies devised the CovCT Contact Tracing platform, which enables users to simply scan the QR code posted outside the building where they live or work and key in their personal details. Once registered, users only have to scan the QR code located in the building entrance every time they enter. They can check on the CovCT website their check-in details, and when someone from the building with the CovCT QR code has the novel coronavirus, users can share their details with authorities to aid them in contact tracing efforts. Madison Technologies is developing a system where non-smartphone users can still check in through a kiosk system.
