Picture by Ashwinee PatiBhubaneswar, Aug. 6: The government has formed a six-member team to look after timely execution of the water and wastewater-testing laboratory project here. The team will visit the laboratory on a fortnightly basis and report to the government on the status of the project. The project will ensure quality monitoring of water and the provision of safe drinking water to citizens. However, with the completion of the project, residents will be able to get safe drinking water. In the proposed laboratories, the firm will collect water samples from industries, sewerage, swimming pool, portable water outlets, drinking water outlets and also from wastewater sources to conduct tests with advanced technology.
