Farmer Karan Singh carries his son's body on his back as his wife looks on near Gumla Sadar Hospital on Saturday. Without an ambulance, Karan again put the body of his son on his back and walked back home, his weeping wife trailing them. "Sadar hospital doctors prescribed a few medicines for Suman which were not available. As parents Karan and Devaki didn't have money to buy them, they were trying to figure out how to arrange the cash when Suman died. So, covering the body with a gamchha, the father hoisted it on his back again to walk back home," the local source said.
