Friends of a teacher who was jailed for having sex with a 15-year-old school boy claim she was "sex obsessed" and dumped her ex when he refused to swing with her. Kandice Barber, 35, was sentenced to six years and two months yesterday and was told by the judge her actions were "beyond despicable". During one incident, the court heard Barber asked the boy to meet her, going to a private field and having sex with him. The sentenced was handed out as it emerged Barber had dumped a previous partner after he refused to swing with her, reports The Sun. Barber must register as a sex offender and abide by the terms of a sexual harm prevention order for life.
