A woman has been accused of cutting her niece's private parts after she urinated on her clothes. Consolata Shenda, a 38-year-old teacher, is said to have used a razor blade to injure the nine-year old girl. A Kibera court heard on Tuesday that Shenda, the girl's guardian, got angry and wanted to punish her. She was charged with assault and cruelty for the crime allegedly committed on November 27. Her bond will be considered after the court receives a report from the children's officer on the girl's condition.
