The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sunday, August 28, at 9 p.m. Taylor Swift may have just been shafted by MTV, receiving a whopping zero nominations for the annual Video Music Awards, the same place her feud began with Kanye West all those years ago. West has two awards within his reach this year for his music video “Famous,” but without Swift around, how will he plan to steal the show? Could MTV be silently supporting the Kimye front in this beef that seems to be invading every aspect of our online lives? However, Swift did release three songs off 1989 in the past year, but was set aside for Beyoncé’s Lemonade and Adele’s 25.
