The militant Moro group on Saturday said soldiers killed seven Tausug youths, mistaking them for Abu Sayyaf. Jerome Succor Aba, speaking for Suara Bangsamoro, said the military mistook the Tausug youths for Abu Sayyaf bandits and fired at them in Barangay Tambang, Patikul in Sulu province. We are enraged by the string of senseless killings and massacres against the Bangsamoro,” he added. The military earlier reported seven Abu Sayyaf were killed and 17 soldiers were wounded in a clash with Abu Sayyaf bandits under Radulan Sahiron around 1:30 p.m. on Friday. He said seven Abu fighters were killed, six wounded, including an Abu Sayyaf sub-leader Hatib Hajan Sawadjaan.
