Taupo traffic to benefit from more traffic lights, road consultants sayROBERT STEVEN/STUFF Taupo District Council proposed putting in traffic lights at the intersection of Tamamutu and Titiraupenga St to equalise the flow of traffic heading north-south and east-west, as well as to make the intersection safer for children at the nearby Taupo Primary School. At present there is only one set of traffic lights in the town and motorists are plagued by delays at key intersections.
