Who will replace Tasman mayor Richard Kempthorne? Tasman district will have a new mayor on Saturday. The candidates are current councillors Tim King and Dean McNamara up against Brent Maru and Maxwell Clark. The voting turnout in Tasman district so far is 25.27 per cent, ahead of Marlborough's 25.26 per cent with Nelson lagging at 21.53 per cent. Over the past three elections the final turnout has been around 50 per cent.
