Emergency services are now responding to an incident on the Otago Rail Trail, near Omakau. A Fire and Emergency spokeswoman said a cyclist has come off a bike near the second tunnel of the rail trail. Ambulance notified Fenz crews of the incident at about 1.33pm. Fenz said the person was being transported to the Lauder Gun Club. No further details were available.
