TARLAC CITY: Officials in this capital city of Tarlac are stepping up to fight crimes and criminals that spoil the hard-earned peace in the area following series of violence recently. Mayor Cristy Angeles said her office already established close coordination with the authorities to stop the incidents of robbery, carnapping and killings. The move resulted in intensified police visibility, follow-up operations and investigations as she sounded a call on citizens’ participation to help curb criminality. Two of them have already been captured while their cohorts and other perpetrators are now being pursued,” Angeles said. He said the city has already an existing similar ordinance for banks, banking institutions and pawnshops.
