KUALA LUMPUR: Taman Melawati residents are seeking more details from the Selangor government on the proposed construction of a convention centre instead of a centralised park on a plot of land here. Azmin’s response came after residents’ protested on the relocation of a centralised park a kilometre away from its original proposed area. I believe the approval for the convention centre was only made in April by MPAJ and state government this year,” Razman said. He added that the developments plans approved by the state government shows that the park will be replaced with a convention centre and the proposed park itself moved to another location. Razman said the residents need clear and precise information from all the relevant authorities and want the centralised park development to be back on track.
