Stephanie Talbot established career highs of 24 points and five 3-pointers to lead the Minnesota Lynx to an 85-68 victory over the visiting Atlanta Dream on Tuesday night. Odyssey Sims added 16 points and eight assists and Sylvia Fowles also scored 16 points for Minnesota (7-6), which posted its third win in the past four games. The Dream connected on 41.2 percent from the floor and was 4 of 16 from behind the arc. Talbot capped an 8-0 spurt with a layup to give Minnesota a 54-39 advantage with 5:44 left. The Dream moved within 11 on Jessica Breland’s basket with 2:39 left before the Lynx scored eight of the next nine points.
