Photo: ReutersFilmmaker Taika Waititi has become the latest Kiwi to win an Oscar, taking out best adapted screenplay for Jojo Rabbit at the 92nd Academy Awards in Los Angeles. "Thank you, Kia Ora," said a slightly nervous Waititi as he accepted the Academy Award on Monday afternoon (NZ time). Earlier this month, Waititi picked up a BAFTA and Writers' Guild Award for best adapted screenplay for Jojo Rabbit. Renee Zellweger won best actress for her portrayal of Judy Garland.
