MANILA, Philippines — TNT KaTropa weathered a prolific performance by rookie Jeron Teng and returned to the win column after beating the Alaska Aces, 106-98, for the last PBA game of the year Friday night at the Cuneta Astrodome. Troy Rosario unloaded 12 of his 21 points in the second period to bury the Aces — who, like his team, were coming from an season-opening loss. Mo Tautuaa posted 19 points while Jayson Castro chipped in 18 to keep TNT on the driver's seat for the whole second half. “It's always hard to get the first win especially with our next game being against San Miguel (Beer)," Racela noted. Alaska, for its part, will be ending 2017 with a winless card.
