Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) has decided to sell onions at Tk25 per kilogram starting next Saturday in a bid to help the ongoing crisis caused by coronavirus. Minister of Commerce Tipu Munshi, speaking at a press conference at the Ministry of Commerce on Thursday, made the announcement. “TCB is ready to sell. The commerce ministry has been overseeing the process to make sure there’s no negligence. But TCB has been able to control the situation by revoking their dealerships.”He added that price of goods have come down to an acceptable level.
