He made these remarks while speaking to reporters after placing the cash deposit for NPP presidential candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake today (Oct 1). Responding to a query, the JVP General Secretary remained upbeat on the chances of Dissanayake’s victory at the poll. Herath also firmly denied reports that presidential candidate Dissanayake had been engaging in talks with the United National Party at Temple Trees.
