Sydney airport worker who had his hours slashed during covid scoops $1.2million on the lottery

A worker at Sydney airport who had his hours slashed due to the coronavirus pandemic has won a whopping $1.2million on the lottery. The man, from Bexley in Sydney's south, held one of the five division one winning entries in the Saturday Lotto draw on October 10. The worker said he was shocked when he was contacted by Lottery officials with the life-changing news on Monday. Since his hours were cut the airport worker had been struggling to pay off his mortgage. He has chosen to remain anonymous but purchased his 24-game QuickPick entry at his local shop, Bexley Newsagency in Sydney's South.
