Last pre-season they had kit enthusiasts the world over licking their lips at their Nike ‘total black uniform’, taken up from their historic 1901 strip celebrating the club’s 10th birthday. This year, they’re taking it back to 1891, and the all black kit has turned white and gold. The all-white strip features gold detailing, with the club’s founding year 1891 taking centre stage in place of the usual sponsor. The club’s DNA is engrained in every detail of the 1891 White Edition, so who better to model the new kit than AIK youth product Daniel Sundgren? The limited 1891 White Edition shirt will be available to buy from the club’s official store, aikshop.se – from 2pm GMT on Sunday 10th February 2019 and from prodirectsoccer.com at 10am on Wednesday 13th February.
