Swear and sweat it out, seems to be the takeaway from a new study conducted by researchers at Long Island University and Keele University. She says, “When people lift heavy weights, they do end up swearing out of frustration but it’s not something they do consciously. However, when you swear, you are letting out all that pent-up frustration. However, what I have observed is when a person is doing a strenuous exercise, he unconsciously may end up using a swear word in frustration. While they may not be on the same page when it comes to it powering and improving workouts, they do agree it’s a natural tendency that helps you power through a strenuous exercise routine.
