Once again, caution is being urged to all patrons who go out to consume alcohol in establishments. Warnings are issued against leaving drinks unattended and the general recommendations are that people go out in groups and stay with their groups. Recently, three women in Sudbury, Ont., ended up in the hospital after experiencing some symptoms associated with being drugged while attending some downtown establishments on Saturday, Sept. 17, according to the local police. Anyone who has knowledge of the incidents or who has a concern that they too may have been drugged are being urged to contact Crime Stoppers. “Our officers work around the clock to help victims escape these violent crimes and to bring offenders to justice.”–with files from CBC.ca
