A suspected robber has been killed in a “gunfight” with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Lemua area of Feni district. 28-year-old Faisal was killed in the “gunfight” early Wednesday. RAB Feni Camp In-Charge Safayet Jamil told the Dhaka Tribune: “Acting on a tip-off, we conducted a drive on Dhaka-Chittagong highway around 5am. “Sensing our presence, the robbers opened fire targeting us.”In retaliation, police fired back that left Faisal dead. He said two firearms, seven bullets and local weapons were recovered from their possession.
