RAB-10 Commander Jahangir Hossain said the incident took place near the WASA water tank at Kadamtali around 4:30am on Friday. Hossain said RAB recovered a gun, a bullet, 510 pieces of banned club drug yaba and 24 ampoules of Pethidine from the scene. Hossain said the area where the ‘gunfight’ took place was known as one used by drug dealers. “Six or seven men sitting there had opened fire on a RAB team when it went there on routine patrol. The others fled.”The man was declared dead when rushed to a hospital, said the RAB official.
