The Koyra OC said Anarul was arrested from the Upazila’s Moharajpur area around 10pm on Thursday. “Anarul has led the robbery gang ‘Anarul Bahini’ for a very time and was an accused in 10 cases, six of them filed over robbery and one over murder.”He claimed police had recovered a gun, five bullet shells and two sharp weapons from the scene. As Koyra police OC Shamsher Ali put it, the incident took place on the south bank of the River Kharkharhia in the Upazila around 4:30am on Friday. He said Anarul was rushed to the Upazila Health Complex, but duty doctors declared him dead. Later, based on information he provided during questioning, police took him along with them on a raid to recover illegal firearms.
