JOHOR BARU: Police have remanded the man who trespassed into Istana Bukit Serene and attempted to steal a Ferrari belonging to Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar. Johor police chief Comm Datuk Mohd Khalil Kader Mohd said the suspect had been remanded for four days until Monday (March 5) to allow investigation. It was reported that the suspect, a 31-year-old man from Gelang Patah, drove to the palace in the 12.30pm Thursday (March 1). It was learned that one of the palace staff had noticed the suspect alighting from his car and getting into the blue Ferrari before he was stopped. In a bid to escape, the suspect then drove off in his car and exited the palace through the same gate.
