Survivor steps up for Relay For Life

Survivor steps up for Relay For LifeSUPPLIED Cancer survivor Stephanie Pollard, of Maraetai, volunteered as a driver for the NZ Cancer Society. As a member of the NZ Cancer Society, she was on the lookout for fundraising events for ongoing cancer research when discovering Relay For Life, an 18-hour relay for survivors and their families and friends. It was her birthday during the March 10-11 Relay For Life she participated in, and she called her team Celebrations. Her focus is still predominantly cancer research, but is also branching off towards intensive care and other projects. The next Relay For Life event is at Pulman Park, Papakura, from 4pm on Saturday, April 7.
