The same is true of many alumni I know who “survived” but say they didn’t love their time at Harvard. So rather than coming up with survival tips, I offer the following as a checklist for thriving at Harvard. I always say that the best thing about my experience at Harvard was the people. No, Harvard is by no means a “party school;” students do tend to take their work and their activities seriously. If there’s one thread throughout these tips (and one final piece of advice I can give) it’s that the Harvard experience is what you make of it.
