Following years of sluggish economic recovery, business leaders at privately held and mid-market companies expect accelerated growth this year, according to a report from Deloitte. In fact, 83% of the executives surveyed after the November election are confident that the U.S. economy will improve over the next two years, compared to 65% last year. The executives surveyed are equally optimistic about their company’s success and performance in the year ahead, particularly across key business metrics such as employment, productivity, profits and capital investment.
