Extreme poverty has risen 60 percentage points than before, while 14% of people do not have any food at home. A total of 2675 respondents from a low-income background in all 64 districts participated in the survey conducted from March 31 to April 5. It should also be ensured that food assistance immediately reaches the millions of households across the country facing a food shortage. 14% have no food reserved at home, while 29% have 1-3 days’ food reserved. The survey also revealed that rural respondents are more interested in receiving food support (50% in rural areas, 44% in urban areas).
