A 19-year-old bedridden Ghana teenager who met with a road accident traveled to Mumbai for cell therapy to be able to walk freely. Speaking about his condition, Dr Pradeep Mahajan, Regenerative Medicine Researcher, Adigos Stem Cells, said, "The family heard about cell-based therapy in India. He was advised two sessions of cell-based therapy along with neuro-rehabilitation. In order to remove the scar tissue that formed in his spine in the region of injury, he underwent a spine surgery. He also underwent cell-based therapy to repair and regenerate the damage to the nerves and muscles in the spine."
