MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court has not issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) on the impeachment against Vice President Sara Duterte. However, it did not grant a temporary restraining order sought by the vice president. Rep. Terry Ridon (Bicol Saro Partylist), who is a member of the House Justice Committee, said that without a TRO, the hearing of the impeachment complaints against Duterte will continue on April 14. After the committee found the impeachment complaints against her on March 18 “sufficient in grounds,” it is conducting a hearing that is set to examine evidence, witnesses, and memoranda.
