Defense Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa and his DAP Kenya brigade have called on Luhya community to support former prime minister Raila Odinga saying he is old and could only serve one term. He said unlike Ruto who was young and energetic and would have to serve for two terms making the community to wait to ascend to power. He however castigated Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula for sending mixed signals as to wether he supports Raila Odinga or deputy president William Ruto. Kanduyi MP Wafula Wamunyinyi said the reason why they parted ways with Wetang'ula is because he was pushing them to support Ruto. He said to pave way for a Eugene presidency means supporting Odinga so that when he retires Eugene will be strategically placed.
