Maungu based Police inspector returned Ksh450,000 to a family involved in an accident at Ndara area along the busy Nairobi -Mombasa Highway. Timothy Njuguna and his wife Martha Muthoni were travelling to Mombasa for the festive season celebrations after a long day from work. Maungu police officer in charge of the traffic department, Inspector Job Oyagi, confirmed that there were occupants in the vehicle when it got into an accident. Police stated that they recovered Ksh450,000 an hour later at the scene of the accident.
