Supermarket offering new online hot meal service

First there was Uber Eats, now there's super eats - hot meals prepared by a chef ordered online from the supermarket. New World Northwood, in Christchurch, has been offering hot food dinners since 2017, but online sales were first trialled in July. Supermarket owner/operator Kathy Frampton said Northwood was the only supermarket in the South to offer hot food dinners online. "Buying hot meals always comes with a high safety risk, so it's important to be aware of this if you've got a lowered immunity." "If eating a ready meal means that you're getting a hot meal well-balanced nutritious meal, rather than missing out or snacking on high fat & sugar foods or choosing a take-away, then yes, it's a good thing."
