The Sun received the first-place award for daily newspapers in the circulation category of 12,000 or less. In news, these awards were also presented:Reporter Keith Norman earned a first-place award and two thirdplace awards in reporting, agriculture and spot news categories, respectively. Sports editor Dave Selvig received second-place awards for The Sun’s sports pages and feature writing, and an honorable mention for column writing. Chief photographer John M. Steiner earned six first-place photo awards and one thirdplace award in various news categories. Multi-media specialist Gavin Kutz earned a second-place award and Kutz and Patch-Anderson received two second-place awards.
