Educat­ion Minist­er Saeed Ghani says the new academ­ic year will begin from April 15KARACHI: The Sindh government has announced the schedule of new academic session and summer vacations for all private and public schools across the province. Provincial Education Minister Saeed Ghani on Saturday chaired a meeting of steering committee, which was attended by all concerned departments and officials, according to a statement issued by the government’s spokesperson. The meeting decided that the new academic year, 2020-2021 will commence from April 15 and the summer vacations will begin from May 15 and last till July 14. During the meeting, the education minister stressed that the schedule for summer holidays will not be changed on pretext of the holy month of Ramazan. However, academic activities to resume from March 13, the minister clarified.
