ISLAMABAD: Federal government on Wednesday appointed Dr Sultan Azam Temuri as the new Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) inspector general (IG). He was serving as Regional Police Officer (RPO) at Gujranwala division before his current appointment. On the other hand, a BS-20 officer of Secretariat Group named Ehsanur Rahim, presently posted as defence production division joint secretary, was transferred and posted as water resources division joint secretary. Another BS-19 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, presently posted as interior division joint secretary was transferred and posted as defence production division joint secretary under section 10 of the Civil Servants Act, 1973 with immediate effect. Meanwhile, cabinet division issued the notification of Chaudhry Naseer Ahmad Bhutta as special assistant to the prime minister on legal affairs.
