It's been five days now since a mammoth container ship became lodged in Egypt's Suez Canal, with one image showing the scale of the crisis. Osama Rabie, head of the Suez Canal Authority, told reporters that the ship could be afloat again by Sunday night. Ever Given, a Panama-flagged cargo ship, that is wedged across the Suez Canal and blocking traffic in the vital waterway is seen on Saturday. Suez traffic has been disrupted several times in the past, notably after Egypt nationalised the operating company in 1956.
