During their Sunday afternoon main stage set, they managed to entice hordes of people to join in a synchronised dance, even pulling a deeply embarrassed security guard up on stage to showcase the moves. It was enough to send cheers up through the densely packed main stage crowd as she thanked everyone for pulling together to make events like Splore happen. Benee was in good company on the main stage, where the rule of thumb was acts must feature at least one woman or non-binary person. I’ll normally find my fun at the smaller stages, but this was one of the only festivals where I kept being drawn back to the main stage.
