Subway service, power restored after morning outage in The Annex


The TTC's Line 1 is operating normally again after a morning power outage suspended service on Line 1 between St. George and Lawrence West Stations. In addition to affecting the TTC, approximately 2,400 customers were left in the dark when the outage began at about 4:19 a.m. Power was restored to all customers just after 6:10 a.m.TTC riders board shuttles at Lawrence West station which go to St George where subway service resumes. A spokeswoman for Toronto Hydro, Christina Basil, said the outage was due to a loss of power supply from Hydro One to one of its stations.
