In an Advisory, the Commission on Elections said the deadline for the substitution of an official candidate of a political party, who withdrew, died, or was disqualified by final judgment is on November 29. “This deadline is set so that the name of the substitute candidate can still be printed on the official ballot,” it said. Earlier, the poll body already said that no substitution due to withdrawal shall be allowed after the said date.
