Met Éireann are predicting a cloudy start to the last Monday of 2025, with some patches of light rain across the country. Clouds are expected to remain into the night, with scattered showers forecasted for the east and south of the country. Temperature lows of -2 are forecast in the north and northwest, with higher temperatures of between 2 and 6 degrees expected elsewhere. Tomorrow will bring another cloudy start, turning brighter throughout the day, with the possibility of scattered showers in the south and east. Fog or freezing fog is expected to develop in places too, with lowest temperatures of -3 to+1 degrees.
