The best of the new and old – winners in the Wellington/Wairarapa ADNZ Resene Architectural Design Awards include a converted church in Petone. Wesley Residences by Grant Clarke won the Residential Multi-Unit Dwelling Architectural Design Award with the conversion of the Wesley Church into luxury apartments. The design of the conversion former Wesley Church in Petone, by Grant Clarke of Moore Design, took out a major ADNZ Wellington regional award. Holmes won the Residential New Home between 150m2 and 300m2 Architectural Design Award and the Residential Interiors Architectural Design Award. The Central Energy Trust Wildbase Recovery Centre, Palmerston North, by Susie Elms of Chapple Architecture won the Commercial/Industrial Architectural Design Award.
