Hundreds of students of Rajshahi New Government Degree College exhibited a human mural titled “Udvasito Ekush” in tribute to the martyrs of the historic 1952 Language Movement on Wednesday, the Language Martyrs’ Day and International Mother Language Day. The human mural was displayed at the college ground at 10am. New Government Degree College Principal Prof SM Jarzis Kadir said his students put in significant and sincere effort to prepare the mural. “The main objective of this exhibition is to spread the spirit of our language movement,” he said. Mahafuja Islam, a student of the college, said teachers helped them in organizing the mural by giving direction and advice.
