The student faction came up with the demand during a press briefing in the Amtola area near the Paribahan market on Tuesday around 2pm. Rucsu Andolan Mancha Convener Abdul Majid said: “For quite a while, we have been organizing various movements including petition signing, debates, open discussions and demonstration rallies demanding the Rucsu polls. The student organization leaders and activists also expressed deep concern about the irregularities during the Ducsu polls at the press briefing. At the same time, they expressed their solidarity with the demands from all panel leaders who boycotted Ducsu polls, and also demanded a re-election.
