A 21-year-old student was apprehended after being caught carrying illegal drugs at the Light Rail Transit-2 (LRT-2) Cubao Station in Quezon City. According to the investigation of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 7, Santiago was about to enter the station but was prevented by the security guard at inspection point. ADVERTISEMENTRadyo Inquirer 990AM reported that the security guard checked Santiago’s belongings as part of LRT’s protocol and noticed the sachet of shabu. Police said Santiago was supposed to remit the money to his alleged supplier of illegal drugs. Santiago is currently detained at QCPD Station 7 in Cubao.
